Updates to our Relationship Fee and Banking Tariffs

We wrote to our Coutts private banking clients to share that, for the first time in ten years, we were updating our ‘Relationship Fee’, previously called our ‘Banking Relationship and Account Tariff’.

Changes to when we debit the fee for Coutts Travel Protection and calculate the Crown Earn Rate for our Thank You From Coutts reward programme were also shared too.

We also advised all clients who originally joined us from Adam & Company in 2022, of how we would complete the alignment of their relationships with Coutts by bringing their private relationships under the Coutts ‘Private Client Banking’ Tariff and aligning their commercial relationships to the Coutts ‘Banking Services for Business Clients’ Fee Tariff.

All of these changes took effect on 1 June 2026.
