Trustees, staff and advisers

Anne was appointed Chair of Coutts in September 2025.  Anne brings substantial financial services and wealth management experience to the Board. She is currently Vice Chair of Fidelity International, having previously served as their Chief Executive Officer since 2018. 

Anne is a Non Executive Director of Land Securities and a Trustee of the Queen Elizabeth Prize Foundation. 

She was previously Chief Executive Officer of M&G Investments and Global Chief Investment Officer at Aberdeen Asset Management.

Anne has worked in the asset management industry since 1992, including nearly twenty five years as an analyst, portfolio manager and CIO, across a number of global investment firms including JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Anne’s previous non-executive positions include Director of Esure Group Plc. Anne is currently Chair of TheCityUK Leadership Council and a member of the European Advisory Panel for Temasek.

Dhivya was appointed as a Trustee in April 2026.

Dhivya is a purpose-driven CEO and strategic advisor with over 26 years’ leadership experience, dedicated to building the partnerships and ecosystems needed to drive systemic social change.

With a career spanning commercial strategy (GE Capital, Lloyds Bank, OctopusTravel) and transformative nonprofit leadership, Dhivya has led organisations including the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, Children with Cancer UK, Chartered Institute of Fundraising, United World Schools, and The Girls’ Network, through growth, transitions, and mission-driven innovation.

Rooted in her early life experiences in India, Dhivya has a deep commitment to championing gender equality, education and social justice.

As creator and host of The Charity CEO Podcast, Dhivya combines storytelling with insight, curating conversations that elevate the voices of CEOs, founders, and changemakers around the world.

Originally training as a scientist with degrees in both pharmacology and computer science, Vicki Dela ran away to join the circus and performed across the world as one of the UK’s leading aerial artists. In 2006 she founded and is the Artistic Director of Upswing — an award-winning performance company that expands the possibilities of circus not only as an art form but as an evolving and adaptive set of practices that can help us imagine and shape the world we want to live in. With Upswing Vicki has created/directed large-scale ‘headline’ events for festivals, theatre projects working with older people in care homes and outdoor touring work for town centres. 

Outside of Upswing Vicki is an Associate Director at the New Vic and Creative Director at The Albany, Deptford.  Vicki is Chair of the Baring Foundation Arts Committee and was awarded an MBE in 2022 The Queen’s Birthday honours for Services to Circus.

Bringing 30 years of experience in finance, governance and regulations, Javid is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the UK & EMEA region at Compagnie Financiere Tradition S.A. — one of the world’s largest brokers. He was formerly the Group Financial Controller for the CLS Group (including CLS Bank) which operates the largest global multi-currency cash settlement system for the FX market. His earlier career has included leadership roles at UBS Wealth Management, Barclays and KPMG in a variety of finance and risk roles.

Javid holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the London Business School. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Governance Institute of the UK and Ireland (CGI/ICSA) and of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). 

Javid currently serves as a trustee and treasurer of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe and is a trustee of Community Links.  Previously he has served as a trustee and audit committee chair at the British Postal Museum & Archive and as a trustee at the Contemporary Art Society. He volunteers as an advisor to charities and start-up businesses; and is currently on the advisory board for Master Money — a service empowering young ethnic minority professionals to gain Financial Skills.

Solange Chamberlain is Chief Executive Officer of NatWest's Retail Banking business. She is responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations and performance of the bank's retail franchise as well as our payments businesses. Solange and her teams lead the activity and innovation that powers the experience of over 18 million customers.

Prior to her current role she was NatWest’s Group Director, Strategic Development, responsible for working with the executive leadership team to put in place and progress the bank’s strategy alongside leading the Climate and Sustainable Banking agenda. Solange has strong track record in strategic transformation, digital and balance sheet management. She was also previously the Chief Operating Officer of NatWest’s Commercial & Institutional (C&I) franchise, playing a leading role in bringing together the businesses supporting the bank’s customers from entrepreneurs and start-ups through to multi-nationals and financial institutions. During this time, she was also the Group’s representative on RBS International Board.

Before joining NatWest in 2019, Solange held a number of senior roles at a wide range of financial institutions, including spending time at Lloyds Banking Group, Lazard, Citigroup and Perella Weinberg. 

Originally from France, Solange attended Imperial College London with a first-class honours’ degree in Mathematics. She resides in London with her husband and two daughters.

Stacey was appointed as a Trustee in April 2026.

Stacey provides strategic and operational leadership across a £2.5m giving portfolio as Head of Charity Grants at the Leathersellers Foundation.  As a relational funder, she is committed to delivering grants programmes that reinforce open and trusting principles and apply a trauma-informed approach to design and delivery. 

Earlier in her career, Stacey helped launch ‘Finding Legal Options for Women Survivors’ (FLOWS), an initiative that expanded access to legal protection for survivors of domestic abuse. 

She also spent five years as Trustee and Fundraising Chair of the Artis Foundation.

Stacey is a trusted and active voice within the UK funder landscape, contributing to cross-sector communities of practice and collaborative initiatives that improve funding effectiveness.

Emma Crystal joined NatWest Group as CEO of Coutts and Wealth Businesses on 1 July 2024.  

Before moving to NatWest Group, she was Lead, Sustainable Finance Group at UBS and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at Credit Suisse where her responsibilities included setting the sustainability strategy and ambition for the bank and partnering with the divisions, regions and functions, to deliver their sustainability commitments. These included expanding the wealth management product shelf, investment banking financing offering and net zero deliverables.

Previously, Emma held a number of senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse including leading the Wealth Management business for Northern and Western Europe. Prior to that, she also covered Family Offices for the UK and Nordic markets.

Before joining Credit Suisse, Emma worked in Global Markets at Deutsche Bank for 10 years.

Emma graduated from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden, with a master’s degree in Economics and Business.

Emma is a member of the Executive Committee of NatWest Holdings and also sits on the Coutts Board in her capacity as Coutts CEO. 

Rachel joined Coutts in 2011, having previously worked in the non-profit sector for several years. As a specialist adviser in the Coutts Institute, she works with clients across the UK to develop their family strategies for wealth, prepare the next generation for the opportunities and responsibilities of wealth, and create philanthropy strategies that are effective and rewarding. She has a particular interest in Diversity and Inclusion and has previously chaired the Coutts Women's Network and Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Rachel holds a BA (Hons) in Modern History and English from the University of Oxford. She is also a Trustee of Breaking Barriers, a charity that supports refugees into employment, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Environmental Funders Network. Rachel has previously held trustee roles at Philanthropy Impact and the British Youth Council.

Laura is a Grants Manager at the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK spending £40.5 million a year towards a wide range of work within the arts, children and young people, the environment and social change.

Laura's specialist area is social justice with an emphasis on gender equality, refugee and migration and criminal justice. She co-convenes the Association of Charitable Foundation's network on criminal justice and is also a Trustee of Safe Ground, which empowers people to change, reduce reoffending and build stronger communities.

Judith was CEO of the KPMG Foundation until 2025, with over 25 years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector.  She has worked in some of the UK’s most well-known charities including Scope, Macmillan and Comic Relief, and in the City of London with one of the UK’s oldest philanthropic organisations.

She is an experiences relationship builder, grant maker and a passionate advocate for social change.  She draws on her roots in the Northwest of England, a family life in one of London’s most diverse Boroughs and learning from community organisations and social entrepreneurs across the world from Derry to Delhi.

Judith’s early career was in health, with a doctorate in cancer research, and she brings her analytical skills and relationships to fascinating freelance assignments with Trustee Boards, CEOs and Directors on strategy, governance and mentoring.  She is also currently the Vice Chair of the Nationwide Foundation, for everyone to have a decent affordable home. 

Natalie joined Coutts in 2018 to head up Client Investment Management where her team look after over £12bn assets under management.

Natalie began her career as a currency trader at Lehman Brothers before taking on a similar role at Citibank, where she remained for six years. Following this she moved to UBS Wealth Management where she worked as an Investment Consultant for over five years before being appointed Kleinwort Benson Private Bank’s Head of Strategic Wealth Advisory for 9 years. Prior to joining Coutts, Natalie spent three years as Head of Investment Solutions at Rathbones.

Natalie holds a Masters (MSc) degree in Investment Management and Risk Management from Cass Business School and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
