Coronavirus may still be keeping most of us at home, but it's far from the first, or worst, historic upheaval Coutts has seen.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives in ways we could never have imagined. Working from home, social events held on a tablet or phone, and ‘staycations’ are no longer occasional quirks. They’re normal life, at least for now.
But in our 328-year history, Coutts has faced many similar periods of dramatic change. We’ve delved into the archives to remember how we responded to some of the most important moments in history.
