I am no longer a Coutts client, how can I obtain statements for closed accounts?
If you no longer hold any accounts with us, a transaction history list (THL) or closed account statement can still be requested, as set out below. You can request up to a maximum of five years’ worth of history. Please specify the date range you require.
Call us – call Coutts 24 on 020 7957 2424. Please ensure you have details of the account number and sort code to hand when you call.
Visit us – visit us in our Office at 440 Strand, London, WC2R 0QS. Please ensure you bring:
- Details of the account number and sort code of closed account
- Proof of identity, i.e. drivers' licence, passport
Write to us – please address to Coutts & Co, 440 Strand, London, WC2R 0QS and ensure your request includes the following information:
- Reference to “Account Closure Statement / THL Request”
- Details of the account number and sort code of the closed account(s)
- Postal or email address for the statement to be sent to.
- Signature in accordance to the mandate held on account and contact number should we require additional information.
