Are investment reports and valuations available online?

Are investment reports and valuations available online?

Quarterly Valuation Reports are available for investments held within Managed Portfolios and Investment Reports are available for all other investments.

  • Select Document Vault

You will be able to view and download all reports produced from the date your investments were added to Coutts Online. If you require any historic reports, contact your Wealth Manager using messaging for a secure way to receive your documents.

You can. You are also able to do the same with portfolio holdings. Anywhere you see the ‘download’ button, you are able to download a .csv version of the table you can see on screen.

  • Select Accounts
  • Select Investments

A list of your investments is displayed.

You can search your investments from the asset table.

  • Select Search (When viewed on a mobile device, ‘More options’ will need to be selected first)
  • Select the Portfolio or all current investments
  • Enter the criteria you wish to search on
  • Description
  • Type
  • Symbol
  • Reference ID
  • Select Zero Positions to include empty Investments
  • Select Search.

The results will be displayed.

By clicking on Managed Portfolio you can display the underlying components and their value.

This is currently not possible. Options will be considered in due course for improving reporting where third party providers are involved.

Please contact your Private Banker or Wealth Manager and advise which investments are missing and we will arrange for them to be made available for you to view online.

You are able to filter the breakdown of your online view by investment product, by investments within a tax efficient wrapper or by ownership.

To do this, select the drop down within the graphical overview, the titles are:

  • Investment Products

  • Wrapped/Unwrapped

You are able to view and filter the breakdown of the component by asset class, currency, geographical distribution and sector.

Using the two-level filter you are able to view the weighting of one category against another. For example, which of your equities held in the portfolio are exposed to USD currency risk.

The filter options available are:

Asset allocation – This displays the breakdown of the portfolio by asset class.

Geographical distribution – This displays the breakdown of the portfolio by geographical region.

Sector exposure – This displays the breakdown of the portfolio by industrial sector.

Currency exposure – This displays the breakdown of the portfolio by currency exposure.

Wrapped/unwrapped – This displays the breakdown of the portfolio by wrapped and unwrapped assets.

By selecting the portfolio holding you are able to view fund and stock information together with the purchase price and ISIN. You are also able to view the buy or sell transactions of that asset.

The drop down box allows you to choose the stocks you wish to view. Select All current investments to see all stocks held with the Managed Portfolio or select an individual portfolio

The asset table can be customised by selecting Edit columns (When viewed on a mobile device, ‘More options’ will need to be selected first) and selecting from the list of column headings available.

In the Asset Class column you can see the type of investment the account contains, for example, equities or bonds, commodities or alternative investments.

The Number column displays the investment account number.

You can see the current value of the investment account in this column.

The value of your investments is updated overnight by taking the value from the close of business the previous day.
