some highlights of this year

We’re the first major UK private bank and wealth manager to become a B Corp.

We’ve launched our first-ever full-scale advertising campaign.

We’ve opened our first-ever offices in Scotland – in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Acting on climate change

We’re committed to building a better world for today and for the future.

  • We were a principal partner of COP26 in Glasgow.
  • We’ve reduced the carbon intensity of the equity component of our investment propositions by an average of 30% over the past 18 months and are committed to achieving Net Zero across all our investments by 2050.
  • We’re changing our card supplier to enable us to use recycled plastic for our debit and credit cards and reduce our carbon footprint.
  • We’re a founding partner of The Queen’s Green Canopy.
  • We’ve joined HRH, The Prince of Wales’ Financial Services Taskforce.
  • We’ve signed the Terra Carta

supporting others

We’ve continued to support those in need.

  • Since we relaunched our THANK YOU FROM COUTTS reward programme, our members have donated over £500,000 to help those in need.
  • We’ve welcomed The Prince’s Trust as a new charity partner to THANK YOU FROM COUTTS.
  • We’re well on our way to trying to raise £100,000 a year for our staff charity, Future Frontiers.
  • We’re helping more staff take up their 3 volunteer days to help in the community.
  • We’ve helped launch the Invest in Women Hub to accelerate female entrepreneurship.

A taste of what's coming in 2022

We have some exciting initiatives for next year.

  • We’re introducing a significant upgrade to Coutts Online and Coutts Mobile which will provide a raft of exciting new features.
  • We’re delighted to be launching our new debit card which has been inspired by Angela Burdett-Coutts, through which we’ll seek to enhance our social impact as a B Corp.
  • We’ll continue to focus as much attention on the planet as we do on our people and profit.
