    With pre-agreed monthly repayments throughout the term of your mortgage, fixed rate mortgages offer certainty for the duration of the fixed term, regardless of interest rate movements. Coutts fixed rate mortgages run over a range of terms – two, five or ten years – following which the product will convert to a Coutts Variable Rate mortgage. Your private banker will work closely with you at the start and the end of the term to ensure the best solution at those times.

    A flexible borrowing facility tailored with your wider wealth strategy.

    Unlike a conventional mortgage, the Mortgage Reserve Account offers a flexible borrowing facility that can be used as part of your overall wealth management strategy. Linked to the Coutts Current Account and with a borrowing limit agreed at the outset, Coutts Mortgage Reserve Account offers the flexibility to draw at any time – whether to buy a second home or to fund an investment opportunity.

    Should you have surplus funds, the Mortgage Reserve Account allows you to make reductions to your facility – which you can again draw on at a point that suits you, within the realms of your own borrowing limit. Unlike with many other mortgage products of this type,  a proportion of the borrowing is available at a fixed rate.
