The situation

A client had recently gone through a business sale and wanted a new private banking account that could encompass all their needs, both foreseen and unforeseen, as well as their new financial goals. 

 

THE ISSUE

Their business sale brought them a significant and well-earned windfall. However, their previous bank was unable to give them a bespoke service and they felt lost within a large global set up. This was unfortunate as they were also planning a permanent move abroad at the time.

Our solution

We worked with the client around their needs post business sale and the challenges that can come with a large amount of money. Our regional staff took the time to visit them and understand what they required and what their long-term goals were.

When they were ready, we brought them into the Coutts family. We introduced them to our Family Office and investment service, letting them know how we could put the proceeds of their business sale to work – but only when they were ready and with no obligation. We also helped ensure their finances were one less thing to worry about as they moved overseas.
