This means that a payment has been successfully cancelled before it has left your account. In the case of a payment list, this means all payments within the list have been successfully cancelled before leaving your account.

Pending payments are future dated payments or payment lists that have not yet been sent to the Bank for processing. No further action is required by a user if the payment or payment list displays this status.

Processing status means all levels of authorisation are complete and the Bank is validating the payment or payment list. Sometimes a payment can be held due to lack of funds, or where a foreign exchange deal or additional checks are required which may result in a call back.

A Ready status applies to payments in a collated payment list only. The payments are ready to be sent for processing but cannot be sent until ALL the payments in that list have been authorised or approved.

The saved status means the user has selected the Save button awaiting further changes or to save the work they have already carried out. If you have a large number of payments we would strongly recommend that you select the Save option every 20 minutes when keying the list which means that you will not lose that information should your session be terminated unexpectedly. Once a payment list is saved, you can access it again from the payment lists screen.
