How do I authorise payments to new payees with CouttsID?
After entering the payment details you will be asked to confirm and authorise the payment. To do this you will need to complete the following steps and have your CouttsID enrolled mobile to hand:
- Select Next on the Confirm payment instructions
- Select Authorise with CouttsID on the Authorise your transaction. Enter the password you use to log in to Coutts Online and a message will be sent to your mobile device. You will need to open the app to view the message, which can be completed by selecting the notification received.
- Select Authorise on the message received
The payment is now approved and a message will be displayed on your desktop screen advising this.
