When do the funds need to be in my account to cover a faster payment?
- For immediate payments the funds must be in your account before you make the payment on the credit date, as this is when the payment will be funds-checked.
- For future-dated payments the funds must in your account by the end of the day before the credit date.
- Having funds in place ensures the payment is released to the beneficiary bank at the earliest opportunity.
