Duncan MacIntyre
Head of Coutts Private Office
Duncan began his career working at James Capel as an Investment Manager. He was recruited by Flemings to establish an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) private bank and was appointed Flemings’ youngest Director in April 1998. From here, Duncan took a senior banker role with JP Morgan Private Bank in London, working with UHNW clients. He joined Coutts, Wealth division of RBS group, in April 2005 to establish Coutts Private Office to focus specifically on the needs of UHNW (£10m+) clients across the division.
Duncan focuses his approach on the fundamentals of client knowledge and education and the use of emotional intelligence to engage clients in trusted long term relationships. Duncan is also a spokesperson for Coutts and regularly appears in the media.
At home, Duncan is busy with his young family and has a keen interest in the arts and in the development of young people - he is a Director of UK Youth.
Duncan holds a BA (Hons) in Latin American Studies, and is a Chartered FCSI.
Duncan is a member of the Coutts Executive Committee.

Alastair Hunter
Chief Operating Officer
Alastair is our Chief Operating Officer, and is leading our work to develop Coutts Private Office internationally. He is currently focusing on Asia and the Middle East. He has experience working in and running successful businesses for ultra high net worth individuals. Before he came to Coutts, Alastair worked with Robert Fleming & Co and the Fleming family.

Neil Gordon-Lee
Business Partner
Since 2005, Neil has played a key role in Coutts Private Office, guiding the team on wealth structuring – a cornerstone of our approach. He has been with Coutts for more than 25 years, and has extensive experience of advising international and non-domiciled clients. Neil’s specialist knowledge was instrumental in creating the innovative bank-wide inpatriate proposition in the late 90s.

Rupert Allison

Adrian joined Private Office in 2011, and is the current chairman of senior client partners. James Biggart

James joined Coutts Private Office in 2011 to look after ultra high net worth individuals, with a keen interest in family business: He brings 14 years’ experience with him. James previously worked for a major UK bank advising UK resident clients and their families on investments and structuring. A graduate of Cambridge University, he qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields, where he practiced before becoming a private banker.

Maeve Colley-Russell

Maeve’s deep understanding of the complex world of UK private clients includes asset management and structuring. She has more than 20 years’ experience and started professional life running the Latin American and European teams with a leading Swiss bank, where she eventually became Head of International Private Banking. Maeve then became a director of one of the UK’s leading financial institutions, working with a small number of key ultra high net worth individuals. She is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Perry Littleboy

Perry joined Coutts Private Office in 2011. Perry joined Coutts in Zurich in 1994 followed by three years as Managing Director of Coutts’ Trust operations in the Channel Islands. Returning to the UK in the late 1990s, Perry has been Head of Private Banking and, for five years, Coutts Marketing Director. Perry works with clients to understand their aims and objectives and helps them achieve these.
