Our Coutts Commercial banking relationships combined with those of our corporate parent, NatWest, a leading provider of banking services for small business in the UK, connect us with companies with ambitions to grow. In addition, our clients also bring ideas to the business– as entrepreneurs and business angels themselves they have an ear to the ground for interesting opportunities.

We see hundreds of fast-growing companies every year and seek to cherry-pick the best businesses with the highest calibre management teams. Most of the companies we work with are small businesses looking for growth capital. This means that typical investment levels are from £2m to £10m, and investors can expect to be in for the long term.

This type of direct investment is suitable for more financially sophisticated investors, with sufficient resources to see their money tied up for some time. It also carries a higher level of risk than investing in traditional listed equities, which investors need to be comfortable with. And this is an introductory service only – we don’t manage the investment for you, and you should have the experience and ability to carry out your own due diligence.
