At Coutts, our advisory portfolio services are designed for clients that are interested in financial markets and wish to receive proactive ideas and advice from a dedicated portfolio manager, whilst remaining in control of the decisions within their portfolio. Alistair Jex explains why this service could be suitable for you.

“Portfolio Managers can work with clients to either support their ideas, or if appropriate to challenge its validity and propose alternative ideas.”

Key Points:

  • Advisory portfolios can form either a stand-alone investment strategy, or complement other investments you may hold. Advisory portfolios are not constrained by a predetermined asset allocation but remain guided by Coutts Investment Principles. The Coutts house view is represented through direct securities along with both passive and active funds.
  • We are able to deliver advice cross a broad spectrum of securites ranging from traditional assets such as bonds and equities through to alternative solutions such as hedge funds, commodities and property.
  • Advice is delivered via a dedicated portfolio manager who is there to interpret your objectives and help navigate financial markets. Your portfolio manager can work with you to either support your idea or if appropriate to challenge its validity and propose alternative ideas.
