Almeida fundraising gala

It is once again the time of year for the superb Almeida Theatre Gala evening, and tickets are now on sale.

To be held on Sunday 14th March, the Gala offers a memorable, dazzling evening of entertainment for one night only. The show brings together some of the world’s most talented actors and theatre professionals with the theatre’s Gala audience to raise up to £100,000 each year for its work on the main stage and in the community. 

Rich in laughter, sex and romantic heartache, the forthcoming fundraising Gala, ‘Shakespeare’s Women’, will celebrate the genius of a man who wrote an astonishing array of female roles unrivalled to this day.

This exclusive one-off event will be performed by some of this country’s leading actors led by Sinead Cusack and Juliet Stevenson and directed by Michael Attenborough. The performance will be followed by a party throughout the theatre space.
