David Marshall designs charity necklace
Leading luxury jeweller, David Marshall, has designed an exclusive emerald pendant to be auctioned at the fourth Emeralds & Ivy Ball, hosted by Boyzone star and fundraiser Ronan Keating, in aid of Cancer Research UK later this month.
The event, taking place at Battersea Evolution, London, raises funds in association with the Marie Keating Foundation, for mobile cancer awareness units that tour the UK.
David Marshall is collaborating with Yvonne Keating, who is the patron of the event along with her husband Ronan, to design a beautiful emerald and diamond necklace worth several thousand pounds which will be auctioned at the event – an exclusive preview of the design can be seen above.
All of the auction’s proceeds will go to the charities and a video of the joint design process between David and Yvonne will be screened on the night, with Yvonne showcasing the necklace.
Guests at this year’s Secret Garden themed event will be treated to a glamorous evening of entertainment, including a performance from the host himself, plus a number of other sensational acts – details to be announced soon.
To date, the event, in association with the Marie Keating Foundation, has raised over £1.6 million to fund Cancer Research UK’s mobile cancer awareness units. Three units currently tour the UK, bringing information and highly trained nurses into communities where the incidence of cancer is high, and knowledge of cancer prevention is low.
Limited tables are still available for this event. For more information contact Niamh Cooney on 0207 438 5430 or email niamh.cooney@cancer.org.uk.
