2. Superchick park training, £45 per month
If you’re bored of the gym and crave something a little bit different, Superchick might be the answer. The Superchick park training session will get you into the great outdoors (well, Hyde Park/Battersea Park) where a trainer will put you through your paces during an hour of circuits and cardio exercise. The sessions are for women-only, and are a great way to meet new people and get fit. And if you’re not currently super-fit, don’t worry. The programme is designed to cater for all levels, and because of the size of the group you get all the benefits of a personal trainer without the hefty price tag.

There are also plenty of kaftans and cover-ups from Lotty B and Anya Hindmarch to choose from, plus panama hats from Ecua Andino to keep you cool. And once you’ve made your selection, sit back and relax until the items are delivered in a beautiful branded box, made from recycled material.

4.Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, Hyde Park
New owners Ben and Hugo Warner (Benugo) are the latest occupants of the iconic Patrick Gwynne building on the eastern edge of the Serpentine Lake. The space provides a mix of bar service and ‘grab and go’ food, while people-watching from the deckchairs. The all day dining menu includes mussels with shallots and cider and chargrilled sardines and pea shoot salad, or for lighter bites, there’s freshly prepared sandwiches and salads to enjoy in the park. And just in time for summer, the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen’s restored Citroen H van will be selling homemade organic ice creams, sundaes and smoothies – yum!

5. The Ladies Lunch at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, from £39.50
Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester was recently awarded two Michelin stars and is the perfect lunch treat for you and your girlfriends. The restaurant is set in gorgeous luxe surroundings with views of Hyde Park. The Ladies Lunch offers a set menu of delicious French cuisine and includes a glass of ‘Champagne Alain Ducasse’, fresh fruit juices and a selection of unique homemade infusions from the herb trolley. At the end of your meal, beautifully flavoured macaroons are brought to the table, ranging from rose & raspberry, orange blossom, lavender and verbena & lime. Two courses are available at £39.50, while three courses are £45.

Before Mary Kaczor turned her hand to jewellery, she had a successful career in car racing. She’s now hung up her helmet and driving suit to pursue a career in jewellery design but racing is still a passion. Her latest collection Bijoux Racing uses parts from Formula One cars within the jewellery design, while the Haute Couture part of the range is bespoke and uses parts from F1 cars that have actually raced. Designs consist of platinum, white gold, sapphires, and diamonds. These are one-off pieces which come with a certificate of authenticity stating which race the part came from and which driver was at the wheel.
