Arne Maynard Garden Courses
Arne Maynard is an acclaimed garden designer and Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner, who runs a series of garden courses from his home in Monmouthshire.
Passionate about passing on his enthusiasm and knowledge of design and plant choices to his course clients and popular with both novice and seasoned gardeners, the range of subjects covered allows room for all garden tastes. Courses cover subjects as varied as vegetable gardening and creating a wildflower meadow to 'Creating a Sense of Place', a two-day course that explores Arne’s philosophy on designing a new garden.
Allt-y-bela is a medieval cruck-framed farm house with a Renaissance tower. It has recently been restored by the Spitalfields Trust and has subsequently won several conservation awards.
Garden courses take place in a traditional stone hayloft across the courtyard from a medieval cruck-framed farm house with a Renaissance tower, which has recently been restored by the Spitalfields Trust. Refreshments are served throughout the day and a delicious home-cooked lunch is served in the main dining room or garden.
Most are one-day courses and prices start at £120.
Special offer for Coutts clients:
