Throughout August, the Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel & Spa at Bolton Abbey is supporting the Breast Cancer Haven Charity in conjunction with Coutts & Co and Laurent-Perrier Champagne with its pink afternoon tea.
The sumptuous Pink Afternoon Tea of Wharfedale sandwiches including Smoked Salmon and Cucumber, Pink Roast Beef and Horseradish and Brie and Cranberry together with Raspberry Macaroon, Summer Strawberry Cheesecake, Pink Champagne Jelly and Rosewater and Vanilla Delice is accompanied by a glass of the finest Laurent-Perrier Rosé champagne and a refreshing cup of tea from a menu of 20 teas. Everything is freshly made in the Michelin starred kitchens and £5 of every tea will be donated directly to the Breast Cancer Haven Charity.

Langtry’s restaurant, Knightsbridge
Tucked away on a sleepy Knightsbridge side street is Langtry’s restaurant, part of the Cadogan hotel. Steeped in London's history, Lantry’s was once the home of the famous actress Lillie Langtry, the first IT girl of the 19th century to appear on stage. Langtry’s has an intimate dining feel, complete with high ceilings, a beautiful marble fireplace and oversize mirrors. Head chef Oliver Lesnik has created a hearty modern British menu, which includes pan fried sea bass with crushed parsnips, hazelnuts and white wine, or pot roast rabbit with fat chips and parsnip cream. The limitless wine menu, which includes two courses for £29.95 or three courses for £35, plus unlimited wine, is fantastic value. Definitely worth a visit!
