Travel

• Travel Insurance
  The Coutts World Card provides you with extensive annual travel insurance for unlimited trips of up to 93 days each. The insurance also applies to your partner and dependent children under the age of 18 and includes: emergency medical expenses, 28 days’ winter sports cover, cover for baggage delay or loss, travel cancellation, curtailment and delay and cover for failure of public transport. You will also have:
  
  • continental car breakdown cover when travelling in Europe
  
  • Sentinel® Card Protection for your Coutts World Card, which can also be extended to cover any other cards you may hold free of charge.
  
  
• Automatic Priority Pass membership
  You, and any additional cardholder, will receive Priority Pass cards giving you access to over 450 executive airport lounges worldwide. In addition, each cardholder will be entitled to take two guests into lounges free of charge, as well as additional guests for just £15 per person (Subject to lounge capacity. Some lounges do not admit children).

Coutts World Concierge and Assistance Centre

• You will have access to expert help and advice whenever you need it. A call to the Coutts World Concierge and Assistance Centre, day or night, from anywhere in the world, will connect you to a team of specialists providing everything from flight information to help with booking tickets, accommodation and discounted car hire. In an emergency, they can organise an emergency currency, help replace travellers cheques and lost or stolen passports, and provide urgent messaging and interpretation services.
  
  
• The Coutts World Concierge and Assistance Centre can also help ensure the smooth running of all your social and leisure arrangements. From reserving a table to chartering a yacht, booking tickets for sporting, theatrical and art events, arranging car hire worldwide, or even organising the delivery of gifts and flowers, you will receive informed advice and support at all times. In addition, they can offer invaluable help sourcing domestic staff – including cleaners, gardeners and nannies – and can recommend companies such as interior designers, estate agents and other property services.
  
  

Purchase Protection

• Most purchases made with your Coutts World Card are automatically protected against accidental damage, loss or theft for up to 100 days from the date of purchase. This protection is valid provided the item is not already covered by any other insurance, or would have been covered by another insurance but for the application of a policy excess.



• The policy covers claims up to a maximum of £25,000 in any one year, subject to £50 excess on each occurrence.

Day to day

• Currency delivery service
  Another service you will appreciate when planning your travels is the free delivery of non-sterling currency and travellers cheques. These can be delivered, by registered post to most addresses in the UK. Alternatively, you may collect currency from a named outlet of International Currency Exchange (ICE) or any Coutts Office.There is a commission fee of 1% of face value on travellers cheques and, on all transactions, a withdrawal fee of 2% of the cash amount will apply.
