With Coutts Online Verification that time can now be spent with greater peace of mind. This new service provides added protection against unauthorised use of your card when you shop online at participating merchants. Once you've registered for this free service, only you can make online purchases using your Coutts Card.

When you register, we ask you for a secure password. This password is then required whenever you shop and purchase items at a participating online store – just like entering a PIN at a cash machine or in a shop. If the incorrect Coutts Online password is entered, the purchase is rejected.

There's no need to sign up for a new card or download any new software, and registering for your password is easy and free.

How to apply

To apply for the Coutts Online Verification service you need to be a client of Coutts & Co. If you wish to become a client, please contact us on +44 (0)20 7753 1963.
