Every month, a linked US Dollar or Euro Coutts Current Account will pay off the balance on your card.

Interest free period

Maximum 46 days if you pay your balance in full and on time

Interest charging information

If you do not pay your balance in full and on time, a late payment charge of 2% per month will be charged. We work out late payment charges on the average daily balance from the statement date for which full repayment is not made by the payment date and until the arrears are paid.

Allocation of payments

If you do not pay off your balance in full, payments we receive are applied in the following order:

1. Fees and charges

2. Advances

3. Purchases

See section 2c. b) of your Credit Agreement for full details.

Minimum repayment

The total outstanding balance each month.

Annual fee – $75

Charges

For each advance or purchase of travellers cheques, we charge 2% of the amount of the transaction (subject to a minimum of $2).

If you carry out a transaction in a currency other than US dollars, we charge commission of 2.75% on the transaction amount.

Duplicate statements:

  • One-off requests for one duplicate - No charge
  • Other requests - $5 per sheet
