Coutts

Portrait of a Bank is a short film about Coutts & Co as seen by Coutts’ people. It is produced by The Almeida Theatre Company, of which Coutts has been Principal Sponsor since 2003 and by my company, Boz Temple-Morris Ltd, supported by an investment from Arts & Business New Partners.

After exploring perceptions of Coutts with staff from all levels and all sections of the organisation I investigated the brand identity of the organisation from the personal perspective of six individuals. The result is, I hope, a surprising and thoughtful piece that shows a contemporary organisation that values individuality, quality and attention to detail.

This film represents the culmination of a unique process and Coutts innovative collaboration with The Ameida Theatre, for which they are shortlisted for the 2006 Unliver Arts, Business and Brand Identy Award.

I am grateful to Coutts for their trust in me and for being brave enough to allow me to create a film about them without requesting that it convey a particular message and without steering its course. To find out more about the journey that we undertook, please click here.
