Microfinance and the Environment

Giving to a cause or charity is a personal act of generosity. So, it’s only natural that our clients should desire a greater involvement in how they select and support the recipients of their charitable investments. Two topics of interest for our clients are Microfinance and the Environment.

In the case of Microfinance, clients want to know how they can support the provision of small-scale financial services for poor people who typically have no access to them.

In the case of the Environment, clients want to know how they can support a range of inter-linked issues from climate change and energy. to pollution and waste to boidiversity and sustainable development.

That is why Coutts is piloting an Advisory Service and Donor Advised Fund to offer clients more guidance in their giving.
