2010 Investment Outlook

Chapter 4: Investment Outlook: Traditional Asset Classes

Jean-Maurice Ladure speaks to journalist Asha Tanna about which assets offer the best opportunities in 2010’s more challenging environment.  Despite having enjoyed extraordinary gains last year, we see room for equities to go higher, being still some 30% below their previous peak. Emerging equities, particularly in Asia, should benefit from higher growth compared to developed markets. We are also positive on corporate bonds, and risk assets in general are preferred over government bonds.
