Coutts & Co celebrates 10 years in Bournemouth
Last night, Coutts & Co celebrated it’s 10th anniversary in Bournemouth, holding a lavish reception for over 200 guests at Somerley stately home near Ringwood, Hampshire.
Hosted by Coutts Chairman, The Earl of Home, guests were able to experience the magical setting of Somerley, set in 7,000 acres of stunning Hampshire countryside. The house is not usually open to the public, but the current custodian, The 6th Earl of Normanton, allows Somerley to be used for special events on an exclusive basis.
Lord Home commented: “It is with great pleasure that we have the opportunity to celebrate this milestone for Coutts in Bournemouth. The rise in demand for the services Coutts provides, is a strong testament to the growth of wealth in the region.”
The office, which has grown consistently since its opening in March 1997, continues to see high demand from its wealth management services throughout Bournemouth and Hampshire.
Neil Lewis, Private Banker, Bournemouth office, commented: “The last five years has seen the Coutts Bournemouth office go from strength to strength, driven by the growing number of wealthy individuals choosing to live in Dorset. In particular, we have seen a growth of clients from the now infamous Sandbanks* area, which was recently named the fourth most expensive place to live in the world. We’re looking forward to building upon this success by providing expert wealth management solutions to an increasing number of wealthy clients in the area."
As part of the celebrations, guests were treated to a charming recital by international world-class violinist, Tasmin Little. The revered concerto player has played with many of the world’s great orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, London Symphony and London Philharmonic, with conductors including Mehuhin and Andrew Davis.
