Coutts & Co appoints Regional Chairman for Staffordshire
Coutts & Co has announced the appointment of Karen Mercer as regional chairman for Staffordshire. In her role as regional chair, Karen will help Coutts locally to maintain strong relationships with clients, raise awareness of Coutts wealth management offerings within the business community and introduce individuals who want to learn more.
Karen Mercer is a local businesswoman born in the 1950’s into a family of farmers in Staffordshire and as the eldest of four siblings, her career remained heavily within the farming industry until her retirement as a partner at Mercer Farming Ltd. Two of her three sons remain within agriculture. Over recent years Karen has been very passionate and successful in raising substantial amounts of money for charities including Pump Aid, which funds clean water pumps in communities of Africa, including Zimbabwe. Other charities include Bakewell School and Sedburgh School Foundation.
