Coutts Cambridge appoints three to team

Coutts & Co, the UK’s leading private bank, has announced the appointment of three new private bankers and a financial planning specialist to its team in Cambridge.

Mark Noble joins Coutts as senior private banker from his role at Barclays Premier Banking, and brings over 20 years experience in both traditional and investment banking.

Jason Trolley has been appointed as the team’s financial planning specialist, advising on areas such as tax, trusts and pensions. Jason has spent over 18 years working within the RBS Group and joins the Cambridge team from Coutts in London.

Katharine Kennedy joined Coutts five years ago, also working with high net worth individuals in London. She has now joined the Cambridge team as a private banker.

Mike Norfolk, regional client group head, commented: “With these new appointments, the Cambridge office now has a stronger team than ever and the different dynamics each individual brings to the team is fantastic.

“Now, with three new private bankers on board, things are looking better than ever. The fresh outlook they bring to the business, along with a real commitment to developing the office even further is fantastic. We have every confidence that this will be our most successful year yet.”

The new private bankers will be tasked with continuing the office’s strategy of developing the business throughout Cambridgeshire and across East Anglia. The appointments marks Coutts’ ongoing commitment to expanding its services outside of London and follow the recent announcement that Coutts is to open its 17th regional office in Milton Keynes, later this year.

Mike added: “Between the Cambridge and Oxford offices, we have had significant success in developing the business along the M1 corridor area. However demand and opportunity were such that it was felt more resource needed to be allocated to this region – leaving us to continue to grow the business throughout the east of England.”
