The Coutts institute, a part of RBS Wealth has announced the appointment of Allie Carr as Head of Next Generation Services - a newly created role within the business. Reporting to Mark Evans, Global Head of the Coutts institute, Allie will focus on working with the sons and daughters of clients with significant wealth with a promising and successful career ahead of them.
Allie, has been working for Coutts since 2006, previously as Senior Business Manager in the Chief Administration Office, where she worked on a number of brand and communications projects. Before Coutts she was with RS Live, working on corporate event management. Prior to that, she worked at Trimedia Communications in London and Nakata Planning Group in Colorado Springs, USA. Allie who is 32 years old, was born in Hereford and has spent much of her life overseas.
The Next Generation service has been set up as a third string to the services offered by the Coutts institute, which provides advice and guidance on philanthropy and family business consultancy and regularly host forums, and networking events up and down the country to clients across Coutts & Co, Adam & Company and RBS Coutts. Allie’s new role will be to partner with private bankers and their clients across all areas of the three businesses, to create and deliver a world class range of educational, networking and advisory services for the ‘next generation’ of the wealthiest clients.

The Coutts institute, which was founded in 2005 by Mark Evans, initially with three members of staff within Coutts & Co, has since grown to 11 employees, and now provides expert advisors on the subjects of philanthropy, family business and now next generation to clients of Coutts, RBS Coutts and Adam across the world. The Coutts institute is a part of RBS Wealth offers networking opportunities through forums for philanthropy and family business, provides research on charitable giving, offers a prize for family business and an education programme in conjunction with Cranfield School of Management as well as range of workshops and seminars to assist in educating, connecting and advising clients.
