Last week, Coutts & Co hosted an event for clients and prospective clients at HMS Drake in Plymouth.
The evening, on 1 June, was hosted by Charles Howeson, Regional Chairman of Coutts and Chairman of the Plymouth Area Business Council (PABC); Paul Kirk, Managing Partner for the South West; and Peter Blatchford, Client Partner at Coutts in Exeter and coincided with a two day visit to the region by Michael Morley, Coutts’ Chief Executive.
Michael spoke about Coutts long history and ambitions both locally and in a wider context and took questions from guests.
Donations were made by clients to the Drake Foundation, the new City region ‘Charity of Charities’ designed to support individuals, groups and charities in the Plymouth City area through providing grants. It represents the corporate social responsibility focus of the PABC.
Peter Blatchford said: "Charles, Paul and I were very pleased to welcome Michael Morley to Exeter. Since opening the office we have seen substantial growth in our business and involvement in the local community and this was a great way to interact with clients and help support a worthy cause at the same time."
