Coutts private banker Anne Girres first participated in the exclusive Monaco Ladies Lunch in March, where women attend by invitation only, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Present were more than 100 of the Principality’s most well connected ladies, including the association’s Honorary President, Miss Charlene Wittstock, former Olympic swimmer and recently engaged to S.A.S. Prince Albert II, Mrs Safia Al Rashid, wife of Saudi Sheikh Nasser Al Rashid and Lady Tina Green.

Since the committee was formed five years ago by the Baroness Cécile de Massy, a different charity is supported at each lunch. At the last event, they benefited Special Olympics and successfully raised EUR 52K. The second event of the year will be held on Thursday 18 November and will raise funds for the local charity F.A.R.

Between small talk, a fashion show and some delicious food, the Ladies Lunch supports local charities and raises awareness on their work. Helping children and teenagers with difficulties is a cause very dear to the Baroness’s heart.

When leaving LA for Monaco with her family ten years ago, the socialite Cécile de Massy never thought that she would be part of the most exclusive women’s network in Monaco. Encouraged by her friends, she launched the Ladies Lunch Monte-Carlo in 2005. Anne said: "The guests are all dynamic women from all nationalities and walks of life. Unsurprisingly, the lunches are also an excellent place to network."
