Luis Miguel Howard specialises in jewels that are delicate, full of movement and bold in colour. Beautiful flowing shapes suspend glittering briolettes, topazes snake sinuously over lapis lazuli, colours and textures are harmonised for maximum effect. These are pieces that have been inspired by India, Art Nouveau and the Belle Epoque; pieces which are versatile and with the ultimate function of adornment in mind.
Luis Miguel Howard graduated at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery Design (BA, Hons), where he acquired knowledge in design processes and manufacture. He was employed at Boucheron London where he handled and dealt first hand with jewellery of the highest quality. He left in January 2004 in order to start his own business.
