As a result of the Payment Services Directive (PSD) 2012 compliance changes, it will no longer be possible for Bankline to route payments via BACS. Instead, all Standard Domestic Payments will be sent via the Faster Payments Service.

With Bankline, you can:

• view your balances and transactions for sterling accounts on the internet in real time
• view your balances and transactions for currency accounts held with us
• move money between your accounts as a single or bulk transaction
• make single or bulk domestic payments
• make 'Faster Payments'
• make CHAPS payments
• make International payments
• request Bankers Drafts
• view and cancel standing orders and direct debit instructions
• order cheque books, paying-in books, and certificates of interest
• import payment files and export account and payment information.

We protect Bankline with proven industry standard security measures, such as data encryption, passwords, PINs and users IDs. Security tokens, comprising a smartcard and smartcard reader, also protect you when paying online.

Additionally, we've worked with the experts at Trusteer, to create a special version of their security software - Rapport.  This free piece of software further strengthens your defences against Online fraud by hiding online credentials and transactions from malicious software and fraudulent websites.
