This Account provides you with:

• Regular statements, ranging from daily to annually, according to your needs.
• A Coutts cheque book and paying-in book, with the option for specially printed cheques and credit slips if required.

Payments can be initiated using the following methods:

• Standing orders which authorise us to make fixed payments from your account at regular intervals to an individual or organisation.
• Direct debits which are used to pay fixed or variable amounts to participating organisations, supported by the Direct Debit Guarantee. The Direct Debit Guarantee protects you if a direct debit you have not authorised is taken from your Account.
• CHAPS, the Clearing House Automated Payments System, which enables you to make payments to the beneficiary on the same business day as they are sent.
• BACS, the Bank Automated Credit System, allows you to make regular and/or variable payments to third party suppliers or employees. These payments take three working days to reach the beneficiary’s account.
• A telegraphic transfer is a secure method of making electronic payments internationally using Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT).
• Drafts, drawn on the account of the Bank, where the beneficiary requires certainty of cheque payment.

In conjunction with your current account, we can issue you or any named employees with a Business Cash Card, which can be used to:

• Pay for goods and services at over 6.5 million locations around the world, wherever the Solo or Maestro logos are displayed.
• Obtain cash from any Royal Bank of Scotland Group cash machine throughout the UK and from other UK cash machines displaying the LiNK logo. These are all normally available 24 x 7.
• Withdraw cash at around 1 million cash machines worldwide, where the Maestro logo is displayed.
