Edward Kirwan
Head of Charity Investment Team

Edward is head of the Charity Investment Team. He has over 15 years experience managing investments for charities, trusts and private clients. He joined Coutts in 2000 from the HSBC group and has been the driving force behind the Bank's Socially Responsible Investment Strategy.

He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute, a charity trustee and, through Pilotlight, advises small and struggling charities on achieving their investment objectives.

Philip Davies
Senior Investment Advisor

Philip is an investment specialist who has been employed by the RBS Group for over 30 years, focussing primarily on clients and not for profit investment needs. With his ongoing involvement in international bond and equity markets and his sympathetic approach to client needs, Philip is well placed to support the objectives of Charities and NGOs.

His role is to assist Charities in developing investment policy and the ongoing management of their investment returns. Philip has been key in developing the Philanthropy Strategy of Coutts & Co. He is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers and a Member of the Securities Institute.
