Steve Hindley
Steve Hindley is a graduate Civil Engineer and now a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Building.
He has many years experience in the Construction Industry at both project and company management level.Following a 10 year period as Managing Director of a subsidiary to a large construction group, Steve lead a Management Buy In at Midas Group.
As Chairman, Steve has transformed Midas from a small regionally based contractor to a £200m T/O Property Services Group operating throughout the UK and in all property sectors.Steve has recently completed two years as Chairman of the CBI in the South West and a member of the Presidents Committee.
He serves on the Council of Construction Excellence and on the Boards of Camborne Pool Redruth Regeneration Company and the Construction Industry Research and innovation Strategy Panel. He is a Governor of the City of Bristol College and is involved with several charities.
Having spent over 30 years in the Construction Industry, Steve is dedicated to the changes initiated by Rethinking Construction and Accelerating change. Indeed the adoption of these principles in his own company has been a significant factor in its success.

Steve was awarded the CBE in the 2006 New Years Honours List for services to the Construction Industry.
