Coutts Forum for Entrepreneurs – Guest speaker Steve Hindley

On Wednesday 11 June, Coutts & Co hosted a private dinner for entrepreneurs in Bristol, with Steve Hindley CBE , the chairman of Midas Group, as guest speaker.

Steve has over 30 years experience in the construction industry at both project and company management level, and in 1998 led a management buy-in at Midas Group.

He talked about his career to date, the importance of having a strong team around you and the need to be able to delegate efficiently. He also spoke of how crucial his finance directors (FDs) have been to his continued success in business.

This stimulated some lively debate and there were many questions from the invited guests, particularly on the subject of FDs and the current economic climate.

The event forms part of Coutts' ongoing commitment to provide platforms for entrepreneurs to network with like-minded individuals and discuss their own business ventures and the challenges and achievements associated with them.
