Coutts & Co, the UK’s leading private bank, has announced the appointment of private banker Shirley Coe, to its Guildford-based team.
Shirley, who joins from her role as business development manager with Coutts in London, has been appointed to help grow the business throughout the Guildford region. Shirley first joined Coutts over 12 years ago as a private banker, before emigrating to South Africa and joining the Board of Executors Private Bank. She later returned to the UK, and Coutts, in a business development capacity working with professional advisers.
Alastair Graham, senior manager, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Shirley to the team, an expansion which marks the continued success of Coutts in Surrey. Her experience in both private banking and business development is a great combination for this role and will be crucial in enabling us to further build the business throughout the county, building on the office’s successes in 2005.”
Shirley added: “I am delighted to join the Surrey office, at a time when Coutts continues to grow its regional presence throughout the UK, with a strong commitment to expanding its presence in the county. I look forward to being part of such a dynamic team and the challenges ahead.”
