Coutts & Co’s Nottingham team has been named ‘Top UK Team’ at the Bank’s annual conference that was held in London this week.

The award recognises the team’s exceptional performance in 2005. It also acknowledges the quality of the local private bankers, in their commitment to providing excellent client service. The office beat off stiff competition from the Guildford and Tunbridge Wells offices, as well as the London-based Sports and Entertainment team, to claim the award.

Joanna Thornell, senior manager of Coutts in Nottingham commented: “We are delighted to have been recognised as Coutts’ Top UK Team. Last year was challenging but the team of private bankers really rose to it, delivering outstanding performance across all areas. Their continued commitment to providing first-rate client service at all times, has really impressed me. The team is thoroughly deserving of this accolade.”

The Nottingham team, which celebrates its tenth anniversary later this year, has 15 members of staff and has recently moved to NG2’s prestigious Arc complex, in the city.
