COUTTS & CO MAKES SENIOR PRIVATE BANKER APPOINTMENT

Coutts & Co, the UK's leading private bank, has announced the appointment of Mark Yellops as senior private banker in its Nottingham regional office. The appointment marks the continued success of Coutts & Co's office in Nottingham, which has been growing steadily since it opened six years ago.

Mark, 36, will be responsible for looking after the wealth of clients, particularly those who are managing or have sold their businesses. His appointment illustrates Coutts & Co's strategy to organise its private bankers around specific groups with the aim of providing individual financial solutions to help protect and grow their wealth. Mark will be joining an established team of private bankers within the Nottingham regional office who focus on meeting the particular wealth management requirements of high net worth clients.

Mark joins Coutts & Co from HBoS Group where he specialised in providing financial planning advice to individuals and businesses. He has a strong financial services background, having gained experience with Royal Insurance, Forward Trust Group and Equitable Life. Commenting on his appointment, Mark said: "Coutts specialises in offering a personalised approach to wealth management, focusing on preserving and growing the wealth of its clients. Nottingham has a high proportion of high net worth residents who benefit from the services Coutts offers, and I am looking forward to helping to develop the business further."
