PRIVATE BANK SPONSORS CONCERT DURING BATH MOZARTFEST
15 November 2002
Coutts & Co, the UK's leading private bank, is tonight sponsoring a special classical concert during the Bath Mozartfest.
The sponsorship marks Coutts fourteenth year in Bath, and the successful refurbishment of its premises in North Parade. Coutts has invited a number of guests to the concert in the Assembly Rooms. The performance will feature Steven Isserlis and Daniel Muller-Schott on cello, Stacey Watson on double bass, and Melvyn Tan on the fortepiano.
Peter Doherty, senior private banker who leads the team in Bath, commented: "Coutts has a long history of supporting the arts, and has looked after the financial affairs of many famous clients connected with music and literature. It is appropriate that we continue to lend our support to the annual Mozartfest, which is a key date in Bath's calendar."
Coutts Bath office has provided a convenient base for the large numbers of clients in the area since it opened in 1989. Clients include people who are retired, or nearing retirement, entrepreneurs, and those who have acquired their wealth through an inheritance or major win. Coutts commitment to growing its business in Bath, and throughout the area, is reflected by the extensive refurbishment of its local offices.
