Gavin joined Coutts & Co in November 2010 and was appointed to the Board in May 2011.
Prior to joining Coutts, Gavin spent a year in the Channel Islands as Finance Director of RBS International.
Gavin began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. From there he joined Abbey and held roles in Finance, Investor Relations and Marketing. Gavin joined RBS in 2004, in the Corporate Banking division.
Gavin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He also holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Henley Business School, University of Reading and a degree in Geography from the University of Loughborough.
